Hana's Sewing and Alteration

Our tailoring is handled by Hana's Sewing and Alteration, the shop of a master tailor who comes from a bespoke suit-building background with decades of experience. He runs his own business just two doors down — about as close to in-house as tailoring gets, without being under our own roof.

Measured, Marked, and Tailored

Anything you purchase at Van Boven is measured and marked right in the store — chalk and pins, the way it should be done — and then walked two doors down for the work.

Alterations on regular-priced clothing bought at Van Boven are free of charge. There is a modest charge on items purchased at a reduced price.
